Worth Fighting For

The heart is a powerful organ. This organ is small but yet controls the blood flow and oxygen in your body. However, so many people do not know how to manage it. Some can come into your heart, take advantage of it, and then give it back as if nothing ever happened. If you don't allow your heart to heal, scar tissue begins to form and there is nothing you can do about it. But what happens when so much scar tissue has formed from one relationship to the next? Your heart will eventually beat abnormally to the point where it will stop.

Can this heart be revived? Can someone help rebuild this organ to come back to life? If your heart has developed so much scar tissue and the abnormalities have begun, you still have time to heal. My heart has been torn from the mismanagement of people and even from myself. My heart has begun the process of abnormality but yet I won't let it stop beating. I have found someone that is willing to help me heal. To help me see that for so long I have been mistreated and even down right abused. However, this heart of mine is worth fighting for restoration.

Some would be excited at the challenge of someone new, but yet for me I have become fearful. So fearful in fact that I question his every move, thoughts, deeds, and actions. You see when you are so accustomed to toxicity, healthiness is beyond foreign to you. This can be draining for the new person but if they have the patience and understanding, this healing process can become so beautiful.

In order for that to happen, I have to see, know, acknowledge, and accept that my heart is worth fighting for. Although others have mismanaged it, that doesn't mean the next person will. I have to trust the process and trust myself to know that this is in fact different than before. I hope and pray that he has the patience and understanding to walk this out with me.
